Biography

Zhang Weitao, Member of the Communist Party of China, Associate Chief Physician. From July 2016 to August 2017, he provided medical aid in Tibet at Ali Prefecture People's Hospital and was awarded titles including Outstanding Cadre Assisting Tibet and Outstanding Communist Party Member. In 2017, he was certified as a wound therapist by the German Chronic Wound Association (ICW) and the European Wound Management Association (EWMA). Since beginning his career, he has been engaged in the treatment and teaching of infectious skin diseases and chronic refractory wounds such as venous ulcers, pressure injuries, and diabetic foot. He currently serves as a Youth Committee Member of the Burn Branch of the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine; a Council Member of the Surgery Branch of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies; a Standing Committee Member of the Mucosal Repair Drug Committee of the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine; a Member of the Burn and Wound Repair Branch, the Wound Branch, the Dermatology Branch, and the Medical Aesthetics Branch of the Shaanxi Association of Integrative Medicine; a Member of the Dermatological Aesthetics Branch of the Shaanxi Sexology Association; and a Member of the Skin Health and Beauty Branch and the Wound Treatment and Tissue Repair Branch of the Shaanxi Health Care Association, among others. He has published 7 papers in SCI-indexed and core journals and has received one first prize and one second prize for Provincial Science and Technology Progress, as well as one Science and Technology Achievement Award.
